For those who are curious, I won't publically say amount, but suffice it to say I was billed for 328 hours of labor, plus I bought all the parts and paint as direct as I could and had them shipped to the shop. Labor included new rear frame rails, full trunk floor, transition pan, wheelhouses, full quarters, taillight panel, and of course the rest of the car as far as body and paint. You can calculate the price based on labor rates in your area if you want something similar. Fortunately I did all the work on the floors and front of the car myself as I saved a lot of labor hours doing that before the shop got the car.

Looks Great, now the tedious task of putting the interior back in without scratching the exterior. Be careful if you have it outside, somehow all birds can recognize a new paint job and love target practice with live slimmey ammunition.

Looking GREAT, Sam! Congrads on getting her home. I remember your temporary garage that you used to do some sand blasting. Your stang has come a long way.

Now about that daily driving, in Norfolk, I don't think so.

thanks guys.

This has been a long time coming. For those who remember that far back, I've been talking about getting this paint job for over 10 years now. I started saving for it back in 2000. New parts going on the car are coming out of boxes purchased and packed away over the past 12-14 years or so.

Wow that is just totally stunning.
I bet it is time to shift into high gear and get it done for summer now that it is so close. Great job on all the details.
Makes me want to think about getting another one and doing it again...

Congratulations again

Good luck and BE Safe

It looks awesome. I admire and respect your paitience in getting the car done.

I love the way the C stripe lights up with the camera flash.

Are those the wheels you will be running it on?

Thanks.

Yes, those are the wheels I planned on keeping on the car. I'm not sure if I like how they fit though. I thought the 14" TTD was too small, even with big rubber, so I wanted the larger wheels.

I think it might be the space between the wheel opening and the tires. Hopefully the car settles down some more as I add more parts and glass to it.

Great Job Sam ... looks terrific. Boy, you have a lot more patience than I do, but it was well worth the wait.
Congrats on a beautiful car.

The body will definately drop down some as you reinstall parts. Are the springs new? I would guess the springs would settle a bit after you drive it some. Car looks super. I love the gold stripe on the green.

Car looks great, Those wheels are favorites. If the front doesn't drop down, had the same problem and bought 550# contour lowering springs from NPD, and used softer TRW GR-2 softer gas shocks. NPD said 1" drop, but was closer to 1-5-2" drop. Just right. Looking forward to seeing pics with interior, etc. NICE JOB!

Looks really good,,,,Now the time consuming stuff starts. As I have been putting mine back together, you get to parts that look tired against the new paint and go get new to compliment the car,,,,it's all good though.

Enjoy the re-assembly!
